Wind Turbines

This is from my recent workshop in Washington's Palouse region. Nestled in the rolling farmland, these turbines not only generate electricity, they make a great photographic subject. For this little movie, I used the time-lapse function on my Nikon D810, making one shot every second for three minutes. But for something like this, I didn't need three minutes. Frankly, probably 10 seconds would be enough. When processing the resulting .mov file in Photoshop, I used about half the video and every other frame, then converted it to the gif file you see here.
