Navigation in left sidebar

For those not wanting the traditional navigation bar in the header area.

The graphic masthead has also been placed in the main column rather than the header. As you can see, if you have many pages, the navigation area in the sidebar can get quite long. Here I've disabled the auto indexing descendants from the Galleries and Clients pages.

Also, if I want to use this wider layout I'd have to consider doing something with the masthead image. As you can see, it currently does not span the page. Or I could use a smaller graphic at the top of the navigation column like Matt has done on his demo site and I've done here.
